BioAn artist that is loyal to hot beverages. e.g. coffee & tea.
I’m a visual artist currently creating repurposed/mixed media which I love with all my heart and enjoy to share with others. My latest series, Standard Movement is composed of frowsy coffee rings from the steamy coffee I drink, stencil graffiti of delicate honeycomb, found paper from the 1950’s, and drawn plants that I discover on Oregon’s coast. Through collage I am able to explore different interests both in subject and in media. My artwork is constantly evolving due to my appetite for randomness! I am currently working on a series inspired by cuteness (kawaii) in the Japanese culture. My artwork is influenced by my day to day life; from the soothing tea I drink… to the indie shoegaze and ambient music I listen to whole-heartedly… to my beautiful new surrounding in this urban, green city of Portland, Oregon. Along with my partners in crime (my husband and a spoiled Ragdoll kitty), I am discovering who I am as an artist.
